JOHN S. HO

Mr. Ho exclusively represents management in all aspects of Labor and Employment Law, with specific experience in OSHA and New York’s Public Employee Safety and Health Act. Prior to joining B S & K, Mr. Ho served as a prosecutor with the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor, Region II, where he prosecuted numerous OSHA matters. While at the Department, Mr. Ho also received a Commendation from OSHA's Regional Administrator for his prosecution of a discrimination complaint under the Surface Transportation Assistance Act. Mr. Ho's practice often includes assisting employers, in numerous industries, with OSHA inspections and litigation. Mr. Ho frequently speaks about workplace safety and violence issues.

ROBERT A. DOREN

Mr. Doren is the Managing Attorney of the Bond, Schoeneck & King's Buffalo Office. He represents companies across the county on OSHA issues, litigating occupational safety and health cases before federal agencies and the courts, and representing clients in governmental inspections and investigations resulting from accidents. He is also a frequent speaker on workplace safety law and has given many presentations on how to prepare for an OSHA inspection so as to minimize OSHA liability. Among the organizations that he has advised concerning OSHA matters is the Associated Builders and Contractors, for whom he is a member of its Regional Board.

Mr. Melfi's practice includes counseling and representing employers in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters, including OSHA, collective bargaining, union organizing, strikes and picketing, labor arbitration, State and Federal employment discrimination litigation, layoffs, and employee discipline. He has also spoken to various management and personnel groups on a variety of topics, including OSHA, workplace violence, reductions in force, agricultural labor laws, and worker's compensation reform.
