Safety Inspector Technology

Contractors, mine operators and utility construction companies around the country spend countless hours inspecting their jobsites for OSHA and MSHA compliance. Some have converted to a type of mobile inspection software in hopes of streamlining the inspection process. A simple survey will tell you that over half of the companies that converted to mobile inspection software have abandon it for many reasons. The real issue facing Contractors, mine operators and utility construction companies is the lack of a true advanced construction safety technology system that is integrated. Currently, every mobile inspection software available is a stand alone product. These products have fancy features like:

         - Creating inspection forms

         - Downloading features

         - Photo capabilities

and many other fancy features. The problem with mobile inspection software is not the number of features available or the time involved using the application. The problem is that the application is a STAND ALONE product. Completely void of any integration with a true construction safety technology system. Printing reports and graphics from inspection data is generally ineffective unless the application is integrated with your advanced construction safety technology system. For example imagine you just developed a great set of car tires. The tires maybe the best set of tires ever developed but if not integrated with a vehicle they are virtually useless. Remember, the idea is not to just inspect. The idea is to inspect while changing your companies safety culture.
