Accident Prevention

Print version Print version

The Construction Safety Software Corporation has developed a unique six step process for contractors seeking to prevent job site accidents. Our powerful web-based construction safety management system, “Construction Safety Supervisor”, provides contractors and mine operators with an industry specific comprehensive construction accident prevention and management system

Step 1 - PRE-JOB SAFETY PLANNING

Determining all the necessary Pre-job Safety Activities (before the project starts) can be a daunting task. However, the Construction Safety Software Corporation has significantly simplified this planning task. With the advent of “Construction Safety Supervisor” contractors can now simply, accurately and quickly develop pre-job safety activities that will minimize or eliminate loss producing unsafe acts and conditions.

Step 2 - SAFETY ACTIVITIES

Once all the Pre-job Safety Activates are complete, its time to concentrate on building and sustaining project safety. To help contractors with this task, use the “Safety Activities” screen in the Prevention module to manage projects safety activities.

Step 3 - ADVANCED WARNING SYSTEM (AWS)

The “Advanced Warning System” or AWS system is integrated into “Construction Safety Supervisor’. It’s intended to prevent accidental loss through improving the communication between the contractor’s field forces and management.

Step 4 - SAFETY MEETINGS

As most contractors know, “Safety Meetings” are an effective way to communicate safety messages to employees. Workers need regular training in the recognition and avoidance of workplace hazards.

Step 5 - INCIDENT

The “Incident” module is a wealth of information that can help you pin point problem areas

Step 6 - INTIGRATING FIELD SAFETY INSPECTION QUESTIONS

Now that the application areas have been reviewed to help prevent similar incidents on future projects, it’s now time to develop meaningful inspection items based on your past research.

All of our applications are designed and developed using genuine Microsoft licensed products.
